Corrections Policy
A Day in History is a DBA of LadyBoss Media LLC.
We want our history to be right. A Day in History pulls events and birthdays from public sources and cites them on the page, but mistakes can still happen.
How we handle errors
- If we learn a fact, date or name is wrong, we fix it as soon as we can.
- For a significant change, we add a short note saying what changed and when.
- We link to the source we relied on so you can check it yourself.
Sources
We rely on reputable public sources, such as Wikipedia's On this day feed (text under CC BY-SA 4.0), museum and library sites, and official government sources where they exist. Some automatically gathered items are marked as unverified until we check them.
